Multiplication by 0, 1 and 2

In the next several lessons we will learn the basic multiplication facts.

Multiplying by 0

Any number multiplied by 0 equals 0.

Multiplying by 1

Any number multiplied by 1 equals that number.

Multiplying by 2

A number multiplied by 2 produces a result twice as large as the original number.
